KANSAS CITY — Brands are unveiling products intended to satisfy sweet tooth cravings.

Trubar is unveiling a dessert-inspired line of miniature rice cakes. Trubar Drizzle snacks feature 5 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 130 calories per serving. The lineup includes varieties such as birthday cake, smore’s and cinnamon roll.

“At Trubar, we’ve always believed that better-for-you snacking shouldn’t mean sacrificing the flavors and experiences people love,” said Erica Groussman, founder and chief executive officer of Trubar. “With Drizzle, we saw an opportunity to take everything consumers already love about mini rice cakes and give it the Trubar treatment, delivering a snack that offers both indulgence and meaningful nutritional benefits. This is a big moment for us because it’s our first step beyond bars, and we’re just getting started.”

Mars, Inc. and Liquid Death are collaborating to launch a limited-edition toaster pastry: Pop-Tarts Liquid Death Frosted Squeezed to Death Orange. Inspired by the brand’s soda-flavored sparkling water, the toaster pastry features a golden-orange crust, orange sprinkles and an orange filling.

“Pop-Tarts has always made room for a little fun with flavor, and our partnerships let us take that spirit somewhere unexpected and give fans a fresh twist on a familiar favorite,” said Kim Holowiak, director of growth and marketing, Pop-Tarts. “Limited-time collaborations, like this one with Liquid Death, offer a new way to experience both brands. Squeezed to Death frosted orange is bright, citrusy and unmistakably Pop-Tarts, with just enough Liquid Death attitude to make having a bad morning feel like a very good idea.”

Sweet Loren’s is introducing refrigerated cookie dough. The thin and crispy cookie dough bites contain 100 calories per serving and are non-GMO, gluten-free and free from major food allergens. The varieties include double chocolate and chocolate chunk.

“We’ve always believed better baking means never having to choose between incredible taste and ingredients you feel good about,” said Loren Castle, founder and chief executive officer of Sweet Loren’s. “Thin and crispy brings something completely different to the refrigerated dough aisle — a light, satisfying crunch from edge to edge, with the convenience and trusted ingredients people expect from Sweet Loren’s. We’re excited to launch it at Whole Foods Market and give cookie lovers another delicious reason to rethink what ready-to-bake dough can be.”
